It's not football, it's fanart! :D Asoiaf Fanart done for two exchanges
It's an animated Shadow Theatre play of the Siege of Storms end.
About technique, it's done in PS, with pen tool, and animated in image ready.
1) Redwyne Fleet besieging Storms End
2) Davos sneeking past them
3) Davos offering food to the starving Stannis and co (and random rats)
4) The cutting of the fingers
5) Knighting of Davos and the beginning of a wonderful friendship.
Minimalistic Sam Tarly Pictures.
1) Sam and Jon taking the vow. Both the vow for the Nights watch and his friendship to Jon are very important for Sam
2) Sam reading to Maester Aemon. I like their relationship and also the fact that Sam is intelligent and loves books.
3) Sam with a raven, leaving the wall. When they go north, he's in charge of them, and he does well.
4) Doing some slayering, y'know
5) Sam escaping with Gilly and newborn baby through the forest. I always thought that his friendship/love and the fact that he helps her was really great.
6) Sam leading Bran (and Summer) towards Coldhands. He keeps Bran's secret, even though Jon is his best friend. That's awesome.
7) Behind every election there is a great man in the shadows.
8) And finally, Sam in Oldtown with Alleras/Sarella. I wish we had seen more of that in ADWD, but well. :/
