1) Tyrion is very annoying. Why so nasty to people? :/
2) Dany will have trouble with her dragons, we know that.

I'm terribly disappointed at how Mance died. I mean, yeah, he tried to laugh, but on the bottom line he didn't act as I suspected him to. Val sounds pretty cool though. Also Jon thinking The women are the strong ones HELL YES!

But the end of the chapter was cool, with the sort of weird magic performed on him and the firy arm. I am starting to think that the whole Rhloor line is way more powerful and scary than we initially thought.

Now that we know that Dany won't even be able to approach any of the other dragons, I REALLY HOPE QUENTYN SUCCEEDS. Specially since this means to save one dragon from death.

Ok, bit of history, bit of background and a castle. Oh and I wonder, what WILL Doran do once he finds out he has a Targaryen pretender right next door?
I'm not sure about Aegon here. He still seems a bit boring. I hope we get a POV so we can see more.

So, one of those Khal's found her. Friend or foe? I believe Drogon can roast 50 guys?
But seriously, it takes some guts to train your dragon with practically nothing, when your ancestors had horns and spells to do so.
Epilogue
Poor Cersei and poor Kevan. Cersei all subdued, though maybe not completally. And Varys assassinating Kevan with the help of his little birds.
Winter has come.
Some more serious impressions and thoughts:
- I like the general descriptions and mood there. Lots of new places which all sound pretty cool (TURTLES IN THE RIVER WOO!)
- I'm not sure I like where GRRM is going with Dany and Aegon here. Now, while Dany is pretty much screwing up almost everything, I would HATE it if Aegon turned out to be the big savior and PWWP and whatnot. So much for strong female characters. :/ On the other hand, Jon's parentage has suddenly become really irrelevant, lol.
- Ramsay is quickly becoming a least favourite. He makes the Freys look like fluffy bunnies. He makes HIS DAD look like Santa Claus. O_O
- Random Bloodraven. Ok, now I love the Bran parts, but I still have to see where they'll be going with the whole Bloodraven thing. Suddenly from being an interesting historical and dead character, he became an actual alive (uhm sort of) active player. Hmmmmmmmmmm.
- Generally with all the dead people not being dead: What is dead may never die. Literally. EVERYBODY BECOMES A ZOMBIE!
- I still haven't seen any Jaime, Sansa, Arya, Sam or Doran/Arianne and co. My mum told me she doesn't want me to spoil her, but if anyone important dies or lives (read: BRIENNE) I have to tell her. LOL
- Generally I guess I'll have to reread it several times to keep up with all the new names and places.
- Thoughts on Theon: he always was amongst my least favourites, but NOBODY deserves this. Also, I am curious to see how this "experience" will change his character.

But the end of the chapter was cool, with the sort of weird magic performed on him and the firy arm. I am starting to think that the whole Rhloor line is way more powerful and scary than we initially thought.

So, one of those Khal's found her. Friend or foe? I believe Drogon can roast 50 guys?
But seriously, it takes some guts to train your dragon with practically nothing, when your ancestors had horns and spells to do so.
Epilogue
Poor Cersei and poor Kevan. Cersei all subdued, though maybe not completally. And Varys assassinating Kevan with the help of his little birds.

Some more serious impressions and thoughts:
- I like the general descriptions and mood there. Lots of new places which all sound pretty cool (TURTLES IN THE RIVER WOO!)
- I'm not sure I like where GRRM is going with Dany and Aegon here. Now, while Dany is pretty much screwing up almost everything, I would HATE it if Aegon turned out to be the big savior and PWWP and whatnot. So much for strong female characters. :/ On the other hand, Jon's parentage has suddenly become really irrelevant, lol.
- Ramsay is quickly becoming a least favourite. He makes the Freys look like fluffy bunnies. He makes HIS DAD look like Santa Claus. O_O
- Random Bloodraven. Ok, now I love the Bran parts, but I still have to see where they'll be going with the whole Bloodraven thing. Suddenly from being an interesting historical and dead character, he became an actual alive (uhm sort of) active player. Hmmmmmmmmmm.
- Generally with all the dead people not being dead: What is dead may never die. Literally. EVERYBODY BECOMES A ZOMBIE!
- I still haven't seen any Jaime, Sansa, Arya, Sam or Doran/Arianne and co. My mum told me she doesn't want me to spoil her, but if anyone important dies or lives (read: BRIENNE) I have to tell her. LOL
- Generally I guess I'll have to reread it several times to keep up with all the new names and places.
- Thoughts on Theon: he always was amongst my least favourites, but NOBODY deserves this. Also, I am curious to see how this "experience" will change his character.
