i'm pretty much mormon

and drugs
and cussing a lot

i went to church yesterday and met the bishop. now i can use him as a reference when i go get a job. of course, if i get hired on the pretents that i'm mormon i'll double have to watch my mouth on the work place.

i met a girl named wendy. she asked if i was a musician because of the rivers glasses. yeah. sure.

after church, everybody went to john parker's house. wendy was there. she likes to play guitar. she told me she's always had trouble starting a band. she said it was hard to get enough serious people together.

it started with "ca you help me think of a band name?"

"what kind of music do you play?" i asked.

"i don't know," she admitted. "actualy it's just me."

"why don't you just use your name?"

"because it's weird and nobody can prodounce it. it's italian and has a silent g at the end."

"you should show me what kind of music you play," i said.

"do you want to be in my band?"

yeah. so we're gonna jam today after a mormon bbq.

john parker fixed up awsome kabobs with chicken and baccon and big ass cucumbers from his garden and onions. it was beautiful. and then he fixed up a bowl of beans and chicken. for desert he served us some stuff that looks like puding but it's actualy got some french name like creme freshe.

his house is real cool because he's got all kinds of guitars and drums just waiting for someone to play them.

after a long day of church, the mormons took me to an episcipalian temple where we listened to the monks chant. everybody laid back on the floor and meditated to the holy music.

then we went to run thru tunnels and play on a playground. on the way back thru the tunnel, a biker zipped by and mooned us. that was pretty silly.

oh, yeah. silly.

i finally got home at midnight. whitney came over and we watched office space late into the night. i love that movie.
