doesn't really matter

whatever drama is in your life
it'll dissapear in three weeks

remember that. because it's true.

"every now and then you meet girl that are so awsome," jimmy said. "that no other girls really interest you ever again."

"fuck!" i said. "don't say that!"

"but it's okay because you get over it," he said. "it only takes three weeks."

that's my cousin, jimmy. he's fucking rad. he called me up just to ask if i wanted a cheeseburger. too bad i was in redmond, kicking it with sam (aka stephanie).

i almost didn't want to go to redmond because i was feeling anti-social again. i've done all these job interviews and i still have no job. i was feeling like quite the loser.

today i had a job interview with dana's housecleaning service. i think that's pretty cool. i can hang there for a while.

it's too bad they do a background check. me and my criminal history didn't seem to phase them at the interview. they said they'd call my personal references. but i'm not getting my hopes up.

i should call the tree doctors back and ask if i got a job with them. i could work part time cleaning houses and part time with the tree doctors. that would rock.

sam and sid are comming over today. i'm excited. at 8pm we're going to visit my sweet lord and learn a bit about hare krishna. i think allison is comming, too. it's going to rock big time.

allison is a beautiful person. when she has guests over, she likes to entertain. she tells stories about her mom and she puts on cds and sings along. it's beautiful. and it's just story time forever.

when sam comes over, the three of us usualy have a psychodelic good time listening to music and staring at the ceiling. listening to stevie wonder's songs in the key of life. oh, baby. turn the record over! it's fucking brilliant.

we've been living most our lives living in a past life paradise...

i sat and listened to modest mouse last night and wrote the outline for an epic story. it's about a man who moves into a small town and builds a church, gets married and has two sons. and the world is pure and innocent. until a terrible secret is revealed! and everything that holds the universe together falls apart.

i like that.

but the thing is, even with all the impurities in the world, there is happiness. it's a story about great cynicism and great optimism. all at once. the world is shit, but it's got you and me. so let's drink and be merrry.

i'll drink to that.
