(no subject)
I still don't have LJ access at work, but I have some time at school so I am using it wisely to catch up a little bit. It sounds like most of you are doing well, and I'm glad. :)
Things are going pretty well for me too! Josh and I adopted a dog about six weeks ago. His name is Beta and he is a hound dog mix. He's maybe the cutest thing I've ever seen. :) It's been a lot of work having a dog, but totally worth it!
Here he is the day we got him - I look a bit disheveled because we just gave him a bath.
He was 12 lbs then and now he is almost double that! This is a more recent picture from a ride out to my parents' place.
He's not completely housetrained yet, but he's getting there. Overall, he's been a really fabulous well-behaved dog!
Other than Beta, things are chugging along pretty regularly. I'm in week 2 of grad school, which is going well. I'm worried about how much work it will end up being, but I figure if it's too much I can cut back to 1 class next semester (this semester I'm taking two). It is kind of strange to be back on campus in the same classrooms I sat in 10 years ago, but I like it.
That's about it, I guess. I hope you all are doing well. Hope to see you back on here again sooner too! Can anyone help me think of a valid work reason for logging on to LJ???
