Dateline: RENO, NV
Greetings from Casa Mom. Have survived week in Minnesota on a lake with the Dad side of the family, which was wonderful and exhausting. It included birthday presents (40 -- not bad so far, really) but not a lot of internet. What'd I miss?
Anyway, Mom's place is our extremely convenient staging area and base camp for group-gathering prior to our departure for Burning Man, which happens tomorrow bright and early. There's an RV with some friends and teammates on its way here from Salt Lake City even as I write this. Don is still asleep. Anybody headed to the playa can find me at Comfort and Joy, 7:00 and D. Will be back online in a week, at which point I'll probably give up and declare an LJ amnesty and not read any posts that anybody doesn't specifically bring to my attention.
