stupid musical idea of the day

For a while I've had the idea of doing a reggae arrangement of Peter Gabriel's "Mercy Street" (it'd work well, though if I had money to throw at it I'd use some real horns.) but walking to work today I wonder if I could somehow work Nick Cave's "Mercy Seat" in there as well.

Have to think about that one a bit more.
