the end is coming!!

Ahh...the semester is dwindling down to an end..thankfully. This past week has been sooo stressful on me. I felt like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders today though.

So, for a little updation (like my made up word? haha)..
Thanksgiving Break was okay. It was really good to get to see my family since I don't see them nearly as much as I am used to. I love seeing my little sisters..they always are so cute. And I saw my oldest cousin for the first time in a long time, and for a change he wasn't making fun of me! Haha, guess that shows that we're both growing up (*tear*). When I got home for the break my step mom had some Christmas stuff for me for the apartment! It was all sooo cute. She got me this little light up Christmas tree, a really cute lil santa box kind of thing (its shaped like a lil santa doll, but it is a box..it's cool), and a couple other holiday oriented things. It was weird sleeping in my old bed..I'm so used to the one here. The festivities were cut short though, the day after Thanksgiving I was woken up by my dad telling me that my grandfather was in the hospital. As soon as I heard that I jumped up, got dressed, and was out the door with my dad on the way to the hospital. I have only seen my dad cry 3 times, and last Friday was one of them. It was rough. We were both holding each other's hand crying on the way to the hospital. My grandfather really is one of the most giving, unselfish, sincere, kind people that there are..he does so many things not just for my family, but for anyone he comes into contact with. I don't really know what I would do if he wasn't here..but it's seeming more and more that I should brace myself incase that happens. It's something I don't really want to think about...he got transferred to a hospital in Atlanta yesterday, and is supposedly doing okay. I'm worried though.

When it comes to school..I've definitely had a stressful week. I had two projects that were due today (that I stayed up until 2am finishing last night). I also had a math test on Tuesday, which I pretty much bombed. And I had a health test today, which I know I failed (but that's okay cause she drops the lowest test grade and my other two tests were an A and a B). I also have a Career Project due in one of my classes next week. I started on that one today. I went to the CAPS center today to work on it. I learned a lot of useful things about what I could do with the things I am interested in. The only bad thing is that most of the jobs I want require a degree in journalism rather than english..and KSU doesn't offer a specific degree in journalism, but rather a track dedicated to journalism in the communication degree...so I am going to research what other colleges around here offer and see what my options are...it just seems like there is sooo many things on my plate right now. But I can handle em. I just get stressed out a little at times. Last night I went to Starbuck's with Ryan to de-stress a little and it helped a lot.

Only one more week until finals, then after those I am done with my first semester of college! YAY~!
