[Simba lies on the edge of the forest and village. He's to wary from his encounter with Aku to go back into the wooded area, and he doesn't want to bask in the village for fear of two leggeds stepping on him.

Although the lion seems to be enjoying the nice weather, his body looks skinny and unfed. And even though he might seem like he's sleeping,

[And Sokka is coming from top secret spirit talking. On his way back what does he spot but a hungry lion? Obviously the smart thing to do is approach it.]

Simba, you're not looking so hot.

[gtfohamlet]

[He laughs, weakly.] Not feelin' so hot either.

[markofthewise]

Not a lot of bugs for eating, huh?

[gtfohamlet]

Pickings are pretty slim.

[markofthewise]

You know, yesterday I was at the grocery store, getting some food for my stash at the smithy, when I thought about you. They don't exactly have bugs there, but I bet they have something else you might like!

[gtfohamlet]

Really?

[markofthewise]

Yup! If you'd like, we can go get some now. You don't need it cooked, right?

[gtfohamlet]

[He slowly tries to get up, so he can follow Sokka to the store. It's a little pathetic to watch.]

[markofthewise]

[He knows your pain. He spent some time in the desert. It sucks, man. But eventually they'll get to the store.] Okay, wait right here, I'll be back.

[gtfohamlet]

[Simba sits his skinny rump down where Sokka tells him. If it meant something to eat, he wasn't going to argue.]

[markofthewise]

[After a few minutes... Sokka will return with a large bowl of food. What is it filled with? Seafood! Squid, crab legs, shrimp, crab meat, and so forth.]

Simba, welcome to the world of seafood. What you have before you are the bugs of the ocean. The best of both worlds!

[gtfohamlet]

[He looks down at it suspiciously. But when he was young he probably felt the same way about bugs. He picks up a squid, and makes a face.]

Hakuna Matata. [He slurps it up, and smacks his lips. Slimy, yet satisfying? Maybe.]

[markofthewise]

[Sokka will silently watch in anticipation. And wonder what Hakuna Matata means.]

[gtfohamlet]

[Simba lowers his head and eats from the bowl. It's better than nothing.

He says with his mouth full:] Thanks.

[markofthewise]

No problem! You can probably find this stuff on your own if you go in there. Of course, personally, I think it's better cooked. But that's just me.
