Hollywood fun with ethnic casting, Mandy Patinkin and Joe Mantegna
Isn't it lol that Western and Jewish Mandy Patinkin got cast as the Spanish Inigo Montoya in Princess Bride (1987)while Italian and Catholic Joe Mantegna got cast as the Jewish cop Bobby Gold in Homicide (1991)? Okay, so Inigo's character was that he was the son of a sword smith, so he could have be any ethnicity, but Bobby Gold is purportedly a detective who have to question the conflict between his character and his jewishness!

Acting is acting, but it is also storytelling - getting a POV out - I never know what to feel about it. Except that I have to vote dislike on obvious colorism: the Avatar thing? Okay, so all the supposingly Asian characters are now played by really white white people - BUT, the villain is played by someone with visibly darker skin? Um.... Oh, the use of using Indian actors to play evil Arab terrorists, that's not good for ANYONE.
