Religion have been selling for centuries, crosses and bibles and priests who live off collection money, meh, but recently, politics. It's not just the parody products at cafepress, but even regular companies are doing it too!
I just heard on the radio (edge station), a subway (the sandwich) commericial, that says in election time politicians are offering promises like cough drops, but the sure way to save money is to buy their products. I'm pretty sure they weren't the only company that have done so since the parliament collapsed (Can you tell I like the term "parliament collapse"?), the election sure is hot in Canada.
Though it certainly can be hotter, I mean, a measley 60-ish % of
voter turn-out* last election? Pathethic, and most worrily, it's a downward slope. Straight down since 6 elections ago around 1984 (which was 75.3%), though the steadily downward slope started around 13 elections ago, 1963, where the turnout was 80, dude.
