Hyakka drowned out the whining of her partner from the next room, and sunk deeper into her salt bath, contemplating the world through tub full of warm water. She settles at the bottom with her arms beside her head, her eyes unblinking. After a while the surface stilled to a perfect horizon, and Hyakka’s world would be quiet for hours that are more restful to her then the sleep she wonders if she still needs.
