yeah I'm posting...
So some sad news is coming your way. I pretty much never write on here anymore because I post on my myspace. So look me up on there and you can see everything that is really going on in my life! :-D
But... while I'm here I will go ahead and update.
So. I am loving my hometeam a lot. we have lots of fun and learn things. It has been a really long time since I have been in a small group of people that I can confide in and ask questions. My entire senior year was a lost cause when it came to that. I'm hoping that it will be the real and constant place for me to be and I hope that we keep on learning! YAY!
I ADORE my friends at school. They are so much fun and I really like just hanging out with them, and I do that alot. They are also a good mix of guys and girls, which is cool cause I don't usually have girl friends!
IMPACT UNCC is the campus ministry I am involved in. It totally rocks and I like it A LOT!!!!! It reminds me a whole lot of CSF before we got ourselves all established and stuff. We are still checking out ideas and seeing what works best. I am actually going to be on the leadership team... it's a lot like the dream team, greeting team, and student leadership all rolled into one. I'm really excited about it and ready to totally commit to that. I know, pretty much for a fact, that God really really wants me there and I know that I will be used and be highly effective there. I REALLY LIKE IT! :-D
I got my grades yesterday! 5 A's and 2 B's... the B's I anticipated (I really didn't like the classes and I didn't show up as much as I should have!) My GPA is grand though... 3.563. It's really nice :) I think I'll keep it. AND, I'm more than positive that next semester will be better because this semester I was finding friends and where i was supposed to be for ministry and stuff, and now all of that is very settled, and now I can jump in head first. :-D :-D i can't explain my excitement, but it is there and it is great! I'm excited :-D
ALSO, today... a guy that my dad met at a bar... I know it sounds really shady and weird, but it happened (that's my dad for you). I cleaned this guys house. 25$ an HOUR!!! and he had "pre-paid" my service... to my dad... for four hours. I made 100 bucks today, just by cleaning and helping him sort through a bunch of stuff... junk really that needed to be thrown away. and he bought me subway for lunch. It was a great deal! I needed money soooo badly, and I prayed that God would provide for me... and He did... just another great example of how amazingly awesome my God is! He just continues to prove Himself to me, and I think I am actually starting to relax a little more about all the situations that make me nervous! :-D
I think that is about all... I don't really have anything else to say :-D Now that I am all motivated to clean, I'm gonna clean up my room. With so little space, it gets dirty very very quickly!
