my first full day of college
it didn't exactly go as I had planned. I was COMPLETELY stressing over my email which REFUSES to work for me on my computer... luckily I have an amazing roommate who lets me use all of her things when my things are broken!
BUT after I got the entire email issue covered... I had a really good day. My roommates are Chelsea, Lynn, and Patti. they are all pretty cool and real sweet! Lynn went home for the weekend because she works really close to where she lives and has to work on Saturdays. ANYWAY.. so Chelsea's friend Celena came over (I know Celena from HS) and we all hung out... Chelsea's parents bought us a tv and some other nifty things for our dorm... which is almost completely filled up with all the things we want/need... except a rug... it will make our entire place look more cozy and homey! we all walked around campus all for about an hour and found classes and things... yay for knowing where I am going! and then we came back watched the panther's game, the end of a lifetime movie... talking about shannon doriety the whole time and then a conversation about Iraq and everything! sooooo my evening was good even though the "party" was more like a middle school dance! What is that! WE are in COLLEGE... be more fun!
I got my syllabus for Spanish 1201... it is scary and it is going to take ALOT of self dicipline to do the one hour lab for every 3 hours of class time. I hope I can do that! all my books came in and the bill was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be because I only had books for 3 of my classes! so that was a pretty nice surprize. I think that I am just ready for classes to start... and my wish will come true in about 24 hours!
ALrighty... my roomies and I have talked (or left) explanation is long and detailed so I am not going to bore you with details! ANYWAYS!
