After many years of wanting I have finally read all seven books of the Chronicles of Narnia. I must say, I have never, NEVER, felt more depressed, inspired, crestfallen, and giddy all at the same time from reading books. The symbolysm whether intentional or from my own mind that was in the book has a quality of reaffirming faith in something larger in us all. The hope that if we lead good and just lives, a glorious garden awaits us. I still have my doubts about the rest but if thy lord is as good as a great lion then maybe there is hope for a wretch like me after all.
