1. I decided to read the comments before replying, to make sure I didn't ask a question that had already been asked. Then something caught my attention: I knew you were home-schooled, but I had never asked you about that. Therefore, I'm rebelling against the meme's original rules, and asking the following: Do you like being homeschooled? And, if you don't mind me asking, why are you homeschooled? As in, was it a decision your parents made, etc.
2. At what point in your life did you realize that you like women?
3. HOW HOT IS AMANDA PALMER OMGLOL!?!!1! Or, if you would rather answer this one, what is your favorite song lyric ever, and why?
4. Bending the meme rules again, slightly. I realize that you've never done drugs and don't plan on doing any either, but do you consider yourself to have an addiction to anything other than drugs?
5. Seeing as you don't think you were ever really in love (again with the comments below; tee-hee I'm a stalker), what do you think you would need to feel in order to believe that you are? In love, I mean. That question seems grammatically wrong somehow, but my English as a third language skills are limited this morning, so I apologize, and don't feel like correcting it.
6. Why do you blog? And, what would you say is the most important thing (to you) that you blog about?
Argh long comment is long. I'm stealing this meme, by the way. It seems appropriate. ♥
1. I really love being homeschooled. I was always bored in school when I was younger because the material was so boring but now that I'm homeschooled (and have been for six years), I enjoy the challenge of the new school that I attend. As for the decision that led to us being homeschooled, it was a combination of a few things. My younger sister is dyslexic and the school we used to attend refused to have her tested, which they needed to do in order to better fit her education needs. Something kind of similar happened with me, as far as the school meeting my needs. When I was in kindergarten, my mom was a volunteer in the classroom and she asked one of the teachers to pull me aside and test me. They asked me to read portions from chapter books and gave me math papers from various grades, all of which I correctly completed. It ended up being revealed that I had a sixth grade reading level and could successfully work math problems from that same grade. When the principal was shown my results, he refused to take any action. For my remaining three years in a public school, the teachers would make work sheets for me to finish while the rest of the class did their normal work. I guess after four years of that, my mom was just fed up.
2. I've always known but it really became apparent when the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie came out. I spent the entire film thinking that Keira Knightley was absolutely gorgeous. And when I was in second grade (I think it was), I had the biggest crush on Britney Spears. My friends would be raving about Justin Timberlake and I'd pipe up with, "Britney's cute, too!"
3. OMG SHE'S SO HOT. I CAN'T EVEN WATCH THE "LEEDS UNITED" VIDEO 'CAUSE OF ALL THE MOANING.
4. Definitely. I am addicted to stay up late and going to bed as the sun is rising. That's just the first one that comes to mind; I'm sure more exist and I would address them if I wasn't rushing to go have lunch. :D
5. Stalker love. ♥ I think that love requires certain things, one of which would be physical contact. The girl that I thought I was in love with, we met on LJ and talked to each other on the phone/through instant messengers. I don't think you can fall for someone that you've never actually hung out with or touched. Getting to know each other (both mentally and physically) would be one stipulation of feeling that I am in love.
6. I love records and like to think that in ten years, I can look back on this blog and think OMG LOOK AT HOW MUCH I'VE CHANGED. As for the most important thing, I think it's just my everyday life. The basics of my daily life are kind of weird to some people and I like showing them that just because I'm homeschooled doesn't mean I'm as out there as they think. Although, 9 times out of 10, that's true, but that's okay. XD
It's alright, I rather like long comments. I leave you an equally long one as a response on your entry once I get home from lunch. :D
2. Bahaha the same thing happened to me! My friends all really liked the Backstreet Boys, but I liked the Spice Girls (read: I liked Geri Halliwell) much better.
3. OMG YES AND I STILL HAVE TO FORCE YOU TO LISTEN TO A BUTTLOAD OF DRESDEN DOLLS.
