I feel your pain -- my Ataris are jerking me around. In other news, the boy I date now and the boy I used to date have a little problem re: one borrowing Borders and Boundaries from the other and never returning it.
I think that the way the story goes is... Bendel borrowed John's copy and never gave it back? Possibly vice-versa, since John made me a mixtape with LTJ.
I think that they have both recovered and downloaded their own copies, they just like to have their little pissing contests -- you know, I date one boy and we get to make fun of the other sort of things.
The new album isn't all that bad if you check out some of the later tracks. A lot of it isn't old LTJ, but I'll make do. "Let Her Go" is incredible. Also, you left out Anthem, which for the most part was pretty excellent. The B&B version of "Look What Happened" was better though.
-Bendel (who is actually wearing his B&B t-shirt)
Also, I will take this opportunity to call out Mr. John Johnson. You have my copy of Borders and Boundries, which should be returned as soon as possible. Kthx.
a) You are not Stephen Colbert b) Mr. Johnson is not LJ-literate enough to read Gina's lj c) He's going to be annoyed that you left off the "III", and you think that he's going to give it? d) Since he only ever lives in rooms previously occupied by people I like, I have his phone number. You could call and have him mail it, or ready it for delivery on birthday weekend.
I left Anthem out, because I really am not a big fan of that album. It's okay, but not the happiness of Hello Rockview or Losing Streak. And I agree that the B&B version of "Look What Happened" is way better. I'll see about some more of the new LTJ, but if it is anything like the two tracks I heard, I might just cry.

Well, I'm not sure who is missing his copy of Borders and Boundaries, but I can burn a copy if one wants it?
