(no subject)
i had a great time with my parents!! dan surprised me for our dinner plans for birthday night--we all went to peter luger, a 120 year old steak house in brooklyn. it was the best steak i ever had. we got a porterhouse (i believe) for four, and the waiter dished it out to us. oh, so good. for dessert we got a huuuuge ice cream sundae, with "schlag" on top--apparently the german word for whipped cream. it was delicious. not too sweet, just creamy enough.
mom, dad, and i had lots of of fun together-time. we saw the play friday night, went to the fire museum, an exhibit @ nyu, shopping at macy's, john's pizza in time square...but best of all, they made a couple dinners at my place, as well as sweet tea!!! oh, it was all so good. i miss having dinner and conversation with them. a lot.
lizzy comes this week..our first girls weekend in...forever it seems, really. can't wait!
