(no subject)
oh, the allergies that i've had for two weeks now are really getting to me--hell, who knows if that's what they are. so i'm gonna call the dr. today and see if i can get an appointment. it's really starting to wear me down, which is the last thing i need.
on sunday dan drove me down to the southern part of bklyn where he grew up--sheepshead bay area. we thought we'd just take a couple of hours and drive around, but it turned into an all day affair. we ended up going into his old apartment building, knocking on the door of old friends and neighbors, and even got to peak inside the apartment he spent about 20 years of his life in--which is now owned by a younger russian couple. it was surreal! i could just picture a little danny running around. :o) he seemed to really enjoy walking down memory lane, after not visiting for the past 15 years. his mom's name is still on the buzzer board and she doesn't even live there anymore! it was a great day filled with lots of surprises.
my mom and dad are coming this weekend. i can't wait!!!
