"3 more days to Halloween, Halloween, Halloween...Silver Shamrock!"

Went to Spirial Cafe's Open Mike the other night with Nicole...fun times. Good to see her again after nearly a year. It was a really good turn out for the Open Mike; one hobo-ish looking guy walked in off the street, and played a rocking version of "The Ballad Of John and Yoko" left-handed on an upside down right-handed guitar, then disappeared as quickly as he came! I did a three song set: "Walk On Water", "Cigarettes", and a new song "Defeated". The new song went over really well, getting the most applause. All the other performers were great as well. A lot of talent hiding out in the city.

Last night I watched a movie I swore I would never watch again: "Halloween III: Season of the Witch". When I first saw it, I though it was a complete piece of trash. It just got released on DVD and I decided to give it another chance; at least I'd be watching it in the proper widescreen ratio this time. And I must say, this time I actually enjoyed it! Definitely an under-rated movie.

Creepy tale about a line of Halloween masks that are stirring up some trouble and some rather bizarre deaths in the quiet factory town of Santa Mira. A bit slow at times, but those with patience shall be rewarded.
