I originally contacted her about a bunch of items she had for sale. I had trouble with Livejournal for a day, but did respond at the first chance I had and made sure to reply promptly to each comment thereafter. I passed on a wig I asked about for being too short and made an offer inclusive of shipping for the rest. She said it was too low considering the shipping so I asked what the shipping would be and that I would be fine adjusting my offer or paying in full, but either way I'd pay. The message repeating my confirmation doesn't appear on the sales page so I don't know if it's invisible through screening or gone because I did confirm that it posted when I made it.
Four days went by without a response and her only commentary when she did respond was that her comment to me days prior hadn't gone through and she didn't realize it until just then. She said she sold the things I asked about because her policy is that she would sell to people who would pay up front and that other people were interested. Since all comments on her page are screened, I couldn't see that. When I mentioned that I thought I was still waiting for a shipping estimate and that I thought she should have mentioned something to me before selling them without warning, I did mention that I would leave feedback regarding the way things were handled and she got antagonistic. She did leave very long and nasty feedback claiming I had no intention of purchasing anything and had set out to waste her time amongst other things, deleting it after I brought up that I had indeed confirmed my interest several times as well as the fact that I hadn't intended to leave her negative feedback.
Since then she mentioned a few times that I did not read her policies regarding selling and that I obviously never read anyone else's and I wasted her time. For a seller to go that far, I believe, is not acceptable. An apology for the apparent oversight or miscommunication would have been fine. I would have accepted a possible Livejournal or iPod error as a possible part of communication failure. I don't believe the accusations are justified by any means.
Not once did she provide a feedback location though she claimed to have had a lot of positive feedback throughout the years. Seeing that she's on the scammers list with lots of complaints, I can see why.
I give a 2 out of 10 only because she was somewhat helpful in the very beginning. The rest of the -8 is for the way she handled everything else. I would definitely say BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE.
EDIT: I have just realized that she gave someone in my country a shipping estimate for the books I asked about at $9 less than what she gave me, even with extra 3 small items I asked about (one having free shipping). There is no reason for such a difference in price. Even two parcels would have been less.
