unpleasantly surprised
I was just sitting at my desk here at work, minding my own business when I started hearing these weird bird sounds. The bird sounded like it was in pain. Of course, being tbe glutton for punishment that I am, I opened my blinds to see what was going on. I was expecting to see a hawk attacking a smaller bird. But no, that was not what was happening. Two pigeons were making love in the shade underneath my window. When the blinds opened, they flew off squawking. I'm guessing they were bird cussing about the humiliation of being seen by a human.
Thankfully all is quiet again.
