(no subject)
A week ago, I decided that I should calculate what my cars miles-per-gallon ratio is. After driving through a tank of gas with exclusive in-town driving, the mpg ratio for my tempo is 16.5 mpg. :( I might as well be driving a SUV. Part of me is curious to know whether the mpg is better than the summers that I had a/c in the car. (Alas, that I will never know. The air compressor burst at some point in the last year or so, and the repair shop wanted twice the value of the car to repair it. Needless to say, I told them I would just do without a/c. The current plan is to just keep driving it until it won't drive any more.) Fortunately, I only have to put 1 tank of gas in the car per week. I never dreamed that I would see the day when I would put $39.00 worth of gas in that little old car. I think I need to reconsider carpooling with James to work.
