Three former leaders of the Exodus movement (a group of Evangelical Christians dedicated to making gays straight) gathered earlier this year to apologize to the gay community for their thirty years of misguided persecution:

Well personally I'm more inclined to say who gives a flying fuck since I never felt persecuted by Exodus. But since it's a holiday and I'm a god fearing American, I accept their apology.

I cried and cried as I watched that. I am so glad that at least some of the higher-ups are finally speaking out and being honest.
