This was just a small aside buried in a larger unrelated article, but I still was happy to see it.

The Bloomberg administration said that it would open 10 new senior centers, each serving 250 to 300 people. One of the centers will cater to the visually impaired, while another will be designed to serve gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender older

Oh good I am glad to see a more a more detailed article. The article I had (whose link I forgot to add) was really about teachers being laid off, and the senior center was just a nugget buried within it.
