New U.S. sex study

Some of the primary findings aren't surprising, but the Journal of Sexual Medicine has released what they're dubbing "largest, most comprehensive national survey of Americans' sexual behavior since 1994."

The study found that 7% of adult women and 8% of adult men identify as homosexual. Interestingly, 15% of men 50-59 report receiving oral sex from another man at some point in their life.

Good news is that condom rates are up among teens, although the sample size is small. Interestingly, condom-usage rates were highest in the black and Hispanic communities, which traditionally have the highest rates of HIV/AIDS. This indicates that outreach and educational programs may be having a desired effect.
