There are many sane Christians, including many LGBT Christians, who take issue with being called delusional.

There are many Christians who do good things. Sects like the Quakers, the United Church of Christ, many of the Episcopalians, etc., all do a lot of good in the world, and that good that they do is in some part motivated by their religious doctrine. If you believe that there is a God who wants you to feed the poor and hungry, and you do so, it doesn't really matter why you're running a soup kitchen -- you're helping people out.
That doesn't make that God exist, though. A delusion is a persistent belief in something that simply isn't so, and the vast majority of Christians (with the possible exception of some Quakers, UCC members, etc., whose beliefs wouldn't even be called Christian by fundamentalists) have such beliefs.
That delusion is benign -- maybe even beneficial -- in some cases. But hearing voices that tell you to wash the dishes and feed your cat is still hearing voices, even if it's unlikely to get you committed.

Point is, keep it to yourself. There's little reason to call Christians delusional just because the Catholic church makes up shitty reasons for their disgusting abuse. You don't have to like or agree with Christians, but at least show a little tolerance by not being insulting.

Catholics do not say that.
Yes, many in the Catholic hierarchy are homophobic. That is not the same as all Catholics being homophobic. There are Catholic groups that are accepting of the LGBT community, such as Dignity USA
http://www.dignityusa.org/
In addition there are bishops and priests who have called for teh Catholic hierarchy to stop being homophobic and there have also been ones who have called for the pope to resign. Just because the pope states something does not mean that all Catholics also say that.
Just because you are gay and have made bigoted statements, doesn't mean that all people who are gay are bigots.
