Violent homophobia rampant in Africa
This is an interesting article on the growing violence against gays in Africa. The problem seems to be getting worse, or is at least getting international attention.
As vile as Fred Phelps is, compared to how gays in other parts of the world live, we have it very well. At least our bodies aren't exhumed, spit on, and dragged to our parents' home. Or being forced from country to country, moving from one safe house to another.
