Harry Potter casts spell against gay teen suicide

It isn't a surprise that entertainers tend to be more liberal and gay-friendly, or that younger generations tend to be. Nor is it news that Daniel Radcliffe is gay-affirming. But he made news today because he made a major contribution to the Trevor Project, which is a 24/7 hot line for LGBT teens who are contemplating suicide.

He isn't. Since when do you have to be gay to give money to a cause that works to prevent suicide in young people?

He's not. He's just very supporting of LGBTQ rights.

It's another way of saying he's gay-friendly. That he affirms the worth and beauty of love regardless of the genders of those involved.

people used to say "gay-accepting" a lot, but affirming is more positive whereas accepting can sound like "I don't necessarily like it, but I will accept it"
