WTF is up with Oklahoma. They take their anti-gay policies to such ridiculous extremes.

Behind the cut, a homophobic (and crudely drawn) comic book by County Commissioner Brent Rinehart, being used as a campaign tool.

Silliness )

absurd, homophobia, hate, wtf

He spelled it wrong twice - spelling it two different ways.

Wow...words really fail to describe this thing.

Actually, after thinking about it, I did come up with some words.

Leaving behind the whole extreme homophobia thing, the specific person he seemed to spend most of the time ranting about was the sheriff. I'm sure there are valid reasons to oppose expanding the county jail and for increasing the sheriff's budget, but I've never heard a politician--especially a self-described conservative politician--describe law enforcement equipment as "toys". And really, I would think Oklahoma City would be the last place to make fun of a sheriff for wanting a truck for the bomb unit. But this is a world where all gay people wear togas and and all the other politicians in OKC make Ralph Nader look like a Rush Limbaugh disciple.

HAHAHA! That thing is hilarious. Wow. The fact that he spelled pedophiles as "pedaphiles" just makes it all the funnier!

After seeing this? I fear for Oklahoma.

Wow. That's almost as bad as this tract. Although the tract has better artwork and Clark Gable makes a cameo appearance in the fourth frame, which definitely improves it...
