Since I don't have a fic request or question for today, I'm posting an unfinished story again instead. I don't quite know how this ends, which is why it's unfinished, but there's a decent chance for this getting done. I like the characters, I like the story, I'm just temporarily baffled. Typo? What typo? Oh, that, huh. My excuse is that doing editing for a living means I'm so use to seeing it they don't phase me and I just mentally fix it instead? That's my story and I'm sticking to it. ;-)

Hell, I'm just laughing at myself and glad people read it anyway. I usually find typos in the first paragraph that part that worries me, but I know some people think typos in the summary or subject mean they'll be endemic. (I just figure people are like me, and typing it last thing.)

I can be one of those folks who find typos early on, in the summary or the tags, or whatever and will balk but not if I'm familiar with the author and you fall into that latter category.

I'm with you. If I know the author, it's fine. If it's only one typo, sure, they were in a hurry. I hate summaries myself, so I'll cut slack there. But it can make me wary, so I try not to do it myself.
