Ay-yi-yi
It's 84 glorious degrees out there. (For August in Memphis, this is unbelievably gorgeous weather.) I have OCs wanting me to tell their part of an ongoing novel. I have another ongoing novel making more sense to me. I have characters for a *third* story explaining a scene in the back of my head. What am I doing today? Completely backing up and factory image restoring a laptop.
It corrupted a start-up file between doing updates (and shutting down) at 10 this morning and my getting back at 11:45. I have not pounded any heads against desks (including my own). I did, however, take a 90 minute nap because it was that or pound said head... (Although yes, I am grateful as hell that it *will* do a backup after the Windows start-up failed. And that I had a portable hard drive available that could take a 62 GB backup.)
I would just like to say, GAH!

Given the new LJ 'design' decisions, please comment on DW if you can.
