::laughing:: And you *still* found Line war! 30 is Rich Ryan's journal, a month or two after the line war.
3. I love the way they're all pitching in Rich's education, whether it's as an immortal they'd like to see make 300 or just to get him through his GED.
2. I love the way all of the characters have their own opinions about education and how to get it, but they all have interests and opinions. And sometimes, they just like picking on each other! (I do love Farrell. And Ish.)
1. I love the way Rich is coming along here. He's pleased with how he's changing and with learning things and putting together a life he likes.
3. Iris. The OC in this one was just such a blast to write. I need to do more with her and the other tattoo-healers.
2. I really enjoyed Carter and Rich's interaction, and the ways in which Rich has to be careful not to look crazy (while wondering if he is). The funny thing is that having another outlook to balance him has actually made Rich much *more* sane in this one.
1. I really loved getting to write a grown-up Rich Ryan, one who's got problems and is dealing with them -- and has accepted that they might not work out. He really was fun.
3. I'm glad I didn't write more than this. It's a really interesting premise that was going to get messy fast. That said, it would be a great lead-in to a fic.
2. I still love Oz and Gregor working together. They really are a great team.
1. And I love the take-off on the Holmes' quote, "Come at once if convenient - if inconvenient come all the same. Or send knowledgeable assistance!"
...this is me howling with laughter. You managed to pick a Buffy/Highlander crossover, Reunions.
3. I do love Spike's description of taking a quickening. "When's the last time you've done the dirty? You know, slice, boom, bam, instant lightning?"
2. Okay, this exchange still makes me laugh. It shouldn't, but it does.
"Since when are we drinking buddies?" Kronos asked coldly.
"Since the time in South America. You remember -- you, me, Dru, two crates full of really God-awful red wine that you kept emptying that one boy's wrist into. Lovely time, really, all the fire glow and smoke... they don't sack towns like that anymore."
1. Kronos and Spike really were a match made in... well, okay, probably hell. And saying they get along like a house afire is, in fact, literal. Several houses, if you believe them.
::giggling:: Thanks, that was a fun one to reread!

Although I am also tempted by 40, as that's the big birthday this year.

Oh, cool, Pen & Ink, the Rich & Haresh (& Carter's ghost) fic!
