How does this always happen to me?
5,000 words, maybe 50% done (60%, I think, but what I have so far needs more meat on the bones), two scenes to go. I think it's gonna be 12 K. Again. How do these things happen to me?
ETA: Scene 1, 1100 words. Scene 2, 1500 words. Scene 3, 2600 words. Two more scenes to go. This is not boding well. Send chocolate?
