The AO3 meme is going around again, where I look at which stories of mine at the AO3 have the most hits and then see if I can find any patterns. Last year's data is here, although I didn't list number data that year. (I am this year from sheer curiosity.) This year's top 10:
10. Five Ways Burn Notice and Highlander Never Crossed Over and One Way They Did, Highlander (HL)/Burn Notice. Gen, mostly. Summary: Exactly what the title says. Everything from flirting to bombs to unexpected friendships, just like the shows.
Written for Crossovers100, and the first story I published to AO3. Was #5 last year. (397 hits, 6 comments, 10 kudos, 1 bookmark)
09. Spice of Life, HL/Leverage. Eliot Spencer, Aidan Logan (OC), Joe Dawson. Gen. Summary: Ever wonder if Joe Dawson has bouncers? Or how he pays them?
Written for a crossover dialogue meme and I have to admit, I love the idea of Eliot wandering into Joe's for a drink and playing informal bouncer for our favorite Watcher. Just fun. New this year. (413 hits, 2 comments, 11 kudos, 0 bookmarks)
08. You See Two Geek Geniuses and Several Computers, Leverage/Warehouse 13. Gen. Summary: They were in a maze of twisty passages, all alike.

07. Souls Unbodied, HL/X-Files, aka the Ramirez Resurrection fic. Gen, but Krycek/McCormick implied, Cory/Amanda/Duncan implied. Caper & heist fic. Summary: Scottish Mummy A Fake?
This took me forever (five tries over seven or eight years?), but it's a caper fic with something like, um, 4 teams, one opponent, and a lot of dark humor. New to AO3 this year. (480 hits, 2 comments, 8 kudos, 0 bookmarks)

Actually," he murmured ruefully, releasing his grip on his lover's shirt, "I suspect you were better at it."

Huh. White Collar's definitely popular, and Leverage. And half of these are newer stories I've written, not even on AO3 a year. ::amused:: Nope. I have no ideas why these stories. Be interesting to see what's on the list next year.
