Avengers (movie): Start As You Mean To Go On, by 
blackeyedgirl . Summary: Tony gets that the others think this is an ego thing - the way he can’t resist pushing Steve’s buttons. Honest-to-God, the guy just bugs him. Mostly because Steve is distractingly perfect, but a little bit because of the family history.
Buffy: For The Love Of Trees, by cornerofmadness . Summary: Who knew a tree could cause so much trouble? (Written for Girl Saves Boy.)
Buffy/Stargate SG-1: Better Luck Next Time, Dr. Jackson, by
jedibuttercup . Summary: She already had two strikes against her in an environment like the SGC, just being blonde and audibly Californian, but with a name like that she really must be good at what she did for Jack and Landry to have hired her.
Buffy/Stargate SG-1: More Jean Grey, Less Wolverine, by
jedibuttercup . Summary: Jack O'Neill wasn't Loki's only unsanctioned experimental subject-- just the only one under Thor's protection. (Rhi's note: Read both chapters. And these are some really different crossovers by the same author - enjoy!)
Doctor Who: 50th Anniversary, by Lastwhovian. Vid/trailer mash-up of all 11 doctors. Made me smile and cry at the same time and I don't even watch this show.
Harry Dresden: Cthulu Returns, by
Ceitean . Summary: "It was not my job to save John Marcone." In which there is no build up whatsoever, Marcone is not a virgin sacrifice, and the Blue Beetle saves the day.
Highlander: The Gathering Happened Every Autumn, by
marbleglove. Summary: Just not the way the modern generation thinks.
Highlander/Sherlock (BBC): An Equal, Or Something Like, by
marbleglove. Summary: Of course the British Ministry knew about Immortals.
Sherlock (BBC): At Least There's The Football, by
sheffiesharpe . Summary: It starts with "Aftermath," where Lestrade arrives at the pool and there's someone already there. It's a slow, interesting evolving Lestrade/Mycroft series, with cooking, football/soccer, punk rock and classical music, and great OC relatives for Lestrade and OC support staff for Mycroft. (Rhi's note: I really recommend this one, folks.)
Miles Vorkosigan books: Twenty Year Man, by
EllenFremedon . Summary: Lord Ivan Vorpatril and Byerly Vorrutyer, making Vorbarr Sultana safe for (highly limited experiments in) democracy. (Rhi's note: I'm not a huge Ivan/By fan, and I loved this and read sections of it to Dragon in the car.)
Thor (movie): Uru, by
sheffiesharpe . Summary: Thor cannot look after Jane, no matter how he wants to. Hogun offers a solution. Puente Antiguo receives another unexpected visitor.
Twin Peaks/X-Files: The Magician Longs To See, by
st_aurafina . Summary: It's ten years after the murders in Twin Peaks, and ten years since Special Agent Dale Cooper vanished from the Great Northern Hotel. Audrey Horne is an agent in the FBI, trying to understand the events of her past and investigate Cooper's disappearance, despite obstruction by the law enforcement of Twin Peaks. Meanwhile, Agents Scully and Mulder are dealing with a case that bears frightening similarities to the original murders in Twin Peaks. (Rhi's note: Massively creepy, spoilers for the end of Twin Peaks, but I liked it a LOT.)
And now I'd better get back to writing. I will point out that there's a lot of new fic in various fandoms over at Girl Saves Boy, and that the
spook_me master list starts taking links in one week (on the 26th) but will keep updating through Halloween and even a little after for those running late. Have fun!
