True, they didn't. And if you've got the SGC there, you've got a lot of people in and around the Springs who've learned that small differences don't matter nearly as much.
::laughing:: Plenty of martial arts schools in the area for practice, and Boulder's full of new age shops -- Colorado Springs, not as much. You know: it's a challenge.
Crossovers are, honestly, my FAVORITE genre of fanfiction, and it's so freaking hard to find good oens- especially nice epic-y novel-sized ones that are arranged around a plot greater than putting the author's two favorite characters together in a romance. I like long, complex plotty fics with a bigger arc than one that's JUST about the relationships and it's something you do really well. :)
Thank you! Yeah, you can probably tell I love good crossovers, too. And I'll be honest, I want to see the characters from the different worlds interact -- if I just wanted them to work with their own canon, I wouldn't be reading a crossover -- but sometimes, I want good gen. ::grinning:: So I end up writing it sometimes to get it.
::staring:: Ohmigod, I thought I answered all the feedback! So sorry!
And oh, yeah, Teal'c would be fascinated in a new age store, I think. Connor, meanwhile, *smiles* and says it's the best cover he's had for headhunting in decades. I try not to ask; he'll explain if I do. So glad you like! And thanks for catching my typo!
When was Teal'c working in a Chicago coffee shop? Did I miss something?
(did I ever mention my semi-serious theory re: the origin of Immortals? That they were the result of a genetic experiment by a renegade To'kra and/or Asgard scientist to produce a goa'uld-resistant human...)
