Officially sanctioned ones, even.  I just watched Paladin (from Have Gun -- Will Travel) escort Phileas Fogg (from Around The World In 80 Days) to Reno, Nevada, to win his bet.  Too, too funny.  (And I'm going to have to read the book now; I adored the Punjab widow.)
