I woke up from a dream about LaCroix refusing to allow a sale of some art, which he insisted had been legally obtained, no matter what the FBI might want. He was in Canada, they were US law, and he had no interest in making their lives easier. I woke up going, "I am not writing a Forever Knight/White Collar crossover, and definitely not one that might also involve due South." I will, by the way, be sticking to that resolution.
Other odd thoughts of late: I live in a city full of churches, and church signs, and people who should have proof-readers and don't. (Don't ask me about the sign where they misplaced a space and claimed their church was full of people who aren't part of God's plan. Please.) The other problem is that I've spent a lot of time on the 'Net over the last dozen years. That said, when I drove past yet another sign insisting, yet again, that the only way to heaven was through claiming Christ as personal savior, a piece of doctrinal wrongness that makes me want to take up tattooing*, I growled at it. It was another couple blocks before I realized what I had growled and almost had to pull over from laughing too hard.
I'm pretty sure most people do not growl, "Read the fucking MANUAL!" at church signs....
* -- I'm not taking up tattooing just to put Biblical verses on people who need reminders. But it is occasionally a tempting daydream.
And last, I made it through ballet Monday (although it was less strenuous than usual; I think the teacher was trying not to kill me) and I'm up to 40 minutes on the Wii Fit, including aerobic exercises now. Although, really, some of the 'training games' are aerobic. Anyway. Getting back there. Hope you guys are all doing okay.
::sigh:: And there was going to be more to this entry, but I am having one of the weirdest damn post-sickness/post-antibiotic reactions ever in the history of me: my short term memory is shot. I keep forgetting what I meant to be doing, which is so completely unlike me... Oh, well. This, too, shall pass. Or I'll get a lanyard for a to-do list notebook....
