I was going to post about my weekend fun of backing up files and reinstalling my OS (and files) on the laptop, but 'May It Please the Court" is much more interesting. I'm not quite sure how to describe it. Musings on feminism and law and character, with illustrations? Yeah. That'll do for a summary. Anyway, I enjoyed it and thought some of y'all might too.
And now I'm going back to updating files, copying files, and muttering profanities, with some writing in between.
ETA: For some reason, in the process of copying files from my laptop to the external drive, my system apparently randomly changed some files and folders to hidden. Including 2/3s of the folders I'd saved from 'My Documents' -- including all the 'Active Stories' plus my copies of the last 12 years worth of writing.
Obviously, I've found them, I think, but this was... highly unpleasant. Tomorrow, I will try to sort out what happened. (And check here to see if any of y'all have any ideas.) Tonight, I'm going to go gibber quietly in a corner.
