My hair is now short enough I'd have no trouble with the military 'no touching the shirt collar' regs. And the rest of it is in very short layers. (taselby? A lot like yours when I last saw you, dear!) This might take a little getting used to. On the other hand, projected highs here for the next few days are 100 or above, and projected heat index will run about 10 degrees over that -- please gods, let it break Thursday as predicted. Which is to say, if I was gonna do this, this was clearly the time to do it!

Off to shower off tiny bits of hair and contemplate henna...
