I made this
Cranberry-Chocolate Tart, with two changes: I used pomegranate juice instead of cranberry for the topping, and I didn't put the chopped, candied ginger on top because the fresh ginger had already given the topping some serious bite. But I have to say, the mascarpone center layer is the easiest, creamiest pie filling I could have made. I'll be using it for summer desserts, too, and just covering it with fresh berries or a tart marmalade. Wonderful stuff, and ridiculously easy!
The party was wonderful,and the tart vanished; Dragon and I got home with two very small slices for today. We just killed them after conquering holiday shopping and getting a tree.
I now return to my scheduled vegging.
