Temeraire: In the Service of the King (SFBC edition of Temeraire a.k.a. His Majesty's Dragon, Throne of Jade, and Black Powder War) by NaomiNovik won the Locus award for Best First Novel Saturday. But I heard it from Neil Gaiman's journal, not here on LJ. How has this not spread madly through my friends list?
