Five favorite fics meme (plus seven)

Post a list of your top five favorite fics you've written, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them. This isn't about the BEST things you've written, but what you LOVE most. Then tag five other people to do the same.

I'm with flambeau -- 5? Out of 119? Eep. I managed to stop at a dozen.

• De Profundis -- (HL) (Rev. Bell, Carl, Matthew, Derek) -- Because I love the voice on this, and the way he looks at things, and I loved the unspoken conversation at the end -- even now, I'm not sure who apologized, Carl or Matthew, because it can be read either way, and maybe it was.
• The Devil's Own -- (HL/XF) (Krycek, Amanda, Cory, Rebecca) -- I love Amanda in this, and I love that Krycek just never gives up, and I really enjoyed the ghosts. But writing Rebecca and Cory striding to the rescue in black leather was a blast.
• Drowning -- (FK) (LaCroix, the Caddy) Ah, LaCroix. My now less-secret vice.
• Fire In The Hole (HL/XF/ B:tVS) (Cory Raines, Carl Robinson, Mulder, Oz, Giles, Robin) I giggle every time I reread this. I had no idea that Carl and Cory in combination would be so much fun!
• Form & Substance -- (HL) (Matthew, Duncan) Ah, the Innuendo Wars, but also the spark, and flirting, and the sheer vulnerability in the middle of the night when they can talk.
• ...Greatly Exaggerated -- (HL) (Kastagir, Tahir Massot) & It'll Never Work -- (HL) (Methos, Amanda, Connor, Methuselah's Stone, name withheld for plot) Two very different resurrection fics, both fun to write, but completely different. Man, I enjoyed them, though!
• Poaching -- (HL) (Aidan, Duncan, Joe, Marc, Methos, Rich) I love this for Marc's arrival, and his confusion and attempts to tread water, and for the plot currents that really start picking up speed here. Mostly, though, I adore Marc.
• Respite -- (XF/B:tVS) (Mulder, Buffy) Partly beause it just flowed once I got past the initial idea, and partly because I still find this comforting, and comfortable, to reread. I hadn't known how much Mulder and Buffy had in common.
• Therapeutic -- (HL) (Sean, Duncan) Mischief5's art doesn't hurt, but really, I find this story insanely comforting and I love it for that.
• Unanswered Riddles -- (Riddle-Master of Hed) (Lyra, Astrin, Danan) This is one of the ones that I look at and go, "Wait, I wrote this? Really? Cool!" It reads like part of the series, which I love.
• White Horses & Tails -- (HL/Nero Wolfe) (Connor, Rachel, Saul Panzer) Writing Saul was way too much fun to resist!

This was surprisingly fun, but I had no idea that the ones I love most (not the ones I think are best, or what have you) would be so varied in fandom and age.
