Something I picked up at the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show I went to with themouseketeer while I was visiting. It's an Apple and Blackcurrent Brandy that state it is "An Old Marches Recipe" and they "used a traditional recipe favored by Granny Russell who spent a lifetime planting, growing and brewing in the best traditional practices of the region."
Unfortunately I don't think it is available in the US, but I had to have some last night after I pulled it down to soak the dried fruit for Stollen.
Of course a part of me thinks that both of them would look very lovely when consumed publicly. *g*
I really shouldn't drink Black Mountain before jumping on LJ.

But I can tell you it's good, potent and sweet enough that you just want to sip a small glass of it.
