Hmm. In three weeks, this'll be fine. Right now, I'm thinking that the problem with having a focal distance of 18" or so (half a meter) is that you can't see what the guy cutting your hair is doing. Worst, he did what I asked, just... much more enthusiastically. Er. By which I mean that Sam Carter's hair is now longer than mine. Oh, well. In three weeks it'll look splendid, and next time, I'll know to tell him, "Okay, do the wisp/shag thing again, but I want it roughly to the join of neck and shoulders when wet, not to the nape, thanks."
