Can I state extreme jealousy over the fact that you can buy bras that last you a few *years*??? I'm lucky if mine aren't worn out in 2 or 3 months. And these are the good ones. *grumbles*

What -are- you buying?

I should go out and buy one or two of my own; it's the sales tax holiday.

and hopefully the weather will -break- this upcoming week and I'll be able to at least walk home.

Target, usually. The two I picked up on that trip to Bloomington to see you only died this spring. So, I got three today at a Maidenform/L'Eggs/Bali factory outlet store that waved a sale in front of me. But you know me -- stuff I buy just lasts. ::shrug:: THe couch, the bookshelf I've had through 26 years and 6 moves, etc, etc. Erm, no clue?

And word! on the weather. Man. It's already been hot. Isn't it September *yet*?!

There's Ikea in Atlanta now, a mere 4 hrs from you -- and the stuff I've gotten there has lasted me 20+ years.....

I'm doing good, although busy. Work's going well, and I'm brushing up on my SQL and VBA skills for a possible job with the company I'm temping for. I'm learning to draw, assuming you can call it drawing if you're doing it with a mouse -- I've a theory that since some of the pictures in my head are refusing to translate into words, maybe I should stop trying to translate them.

Hey, have you had a chance to look at the Legendary Griffin over at DAZ's site yet? The sale's not over till the 10th, but I have to decide by the 2nd, and I'd like to know what you think.

Saw the gryphon, yes. It's not bad. ::g:: I usually like Larry Dixon's gryphons -- very similar to the ones on the Eyriecon t-shirts.

And yeah, I'm thinking of pikcing up Java, and just got a watercolor instruction set because, well, it looks neat. ::g:: Good to hear you're doing well. {{{hugs}}}

Basically good. For my next trick, I'm going to learn raised gilding...the kind you see in medieval manuscript illuminations. And get a little more familiar with Arabic.
