Anyone who's been to a career fair, could you reply to this? I need some information on one. Thanks!

Also, as long as I'm at it, anyone driven from Baltimore to D.C?

What kind of exhibitors show up? Are there any vendors, or is it all tech school/colleges/would-be employers? If there are vendors, what are they selling? Educational software, work programs (CAD, say, or landscaping software), pagers...?

I have never seen vendors of the type where you hand over money and they hand you a purchased item. There might be resume services or training programs, but that's about it.

I used to go to the Brass Ring job fair all the time, and even during the dot com boom, never saw anybody selling anything.
