ETA: My yuletide story is now up to 2,200 words, still pouring out my fingers, and I swear -- the thing is on crack. Do you know how hard I have discovered that while it is possible to keep your fingers in your ears while singing la la la la I don't hear you!, it is impossible

All I have in the house right now is baker's chocolate chips. So I have yuletide panic and a lack of chocolate right at a time when, biologically speaking, I really need it.
