Update from the cave..
Yes, my computer DOES still work..I know it's been forever since I've posted..but really nothing ever happens to us lol. We DID just get back from 5 days in NY with the family. Not as bad as I thought it would be. Mom watched Sara for an evening and Matt and I went to dinner (Bonefish Grill..VERY good eats!) and to see Transformers. I was hesitant at first (despite several friends telling me how good it was) to go see it..I mean this is a treasured childhood memory...wasn't sure I wanted to risk seeing them mangle it. But I was VERY happy..it was an excellent film (and I swear they got the same guy from the cartoon to do Optimus Prime's voice..it sounded JUST like how I remember). The downside of the trip is mom runs a cat-rescue out of her home, and one of the cats Matt and Sara were petting all weekend just tested positive for ringworm. SO, I have to keep an eye out for THAT :-/. Also, I've come back to a washing machine that no longer works right. It won't enter the spin cycle...so I have to see if that's something that can be repaired or if we need a new machine. Sara's Birthday was the 18th, so she got a second set of parties when we went to NY, and came home with a trunk-full of toys. (like she keeps the toys she has NOW picked up). Also, two days before we left, Carrot (her rabbit) passed away. She was really upset. I had taken him out, cleaned his cage, and 3 miutes aftre putting him back in, he was dead...he must have gotten into something during the 20 minutes he was hopping around, but I cannot for the life of me find what he got into. SO, this weekend we'll have to go out and get a new bunny. And that's about it.
